A “church plant” is just what it sounds like. It is the planting of a brand new church.

Plant another church in Lodi? That seems just crazy! Why not just go to one of the many already existing churches in Lodi? That was (& is) a definite possibility and there is nothing wrong with that choice.

God miraculously had my path cross with the path of a small group of Japanese families with children the same ages as mine. Not only were they Japanese, (I never had Japanese people as close friends before) but they were also Christians!

The miracle beginning of God’s Church was the fact that we had a Pastor amongst us and not just any Pastor. She happens to be a deeply committed Japanese-American, female Pastor who loves the Lord with all her heart.

As someone who was searching for the opportunity to deepen my faith in Christ, this small group of loving, Asian, Christian people whom God miraculously had me cross paths with, were the ones God purposely chose to support me along the journey to a deeper relationship with Christ & the strength & love which He has to offer.

The kind of brain God wired me with is different from the brains of other’s. My brain thinks all the time. My brain causes me to ask many questions and wonder about so many things. God miraculously put a wonderful, patient Pastor in my life to answer the many questions that this brain had (& has) about God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, The Bible and much more.

If you are new to Christianity, (or even if you’re not) I invite you to join us and learn more about how Christ can make a difference in your life when you allow Him to come into yours.

God’s Church is small in numbers but very strong spiritually. Many lives have been touched and even changed dramatically by God’s Church and I am blessed that my life has been one of them. Hallelujah!
